Position Overview

Dormakaba USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role will involve installing and servicing a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
  • Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on automated access doors and equipment

Requirements

  • Valid current driver's license
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical knowledge
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Physical requirements include ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working overhead

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical license or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments
  • 2+ years experience as an automatic door installer or service technician
  • AAADM certification
