The Clinical Nurse IV is a highly skilled and experienced nurse who will provide expert care to patients in the Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at UNC Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients in the Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide education and training to staff members on preoperative and post-anesthesia care
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a school of professional nursing
- Eighteen (18) months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting
- Professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet approved list within the probationary period of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
