Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in a dynamic NICU role. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is passionate about providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families.

About the Opportunity

This locum tenens position offers a unique chance to work with a reputable healthcare organization in South Carolina. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing the medical care of patients in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The ideal candidate should be comfortable with patients 32 weeks and resuscitation, Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), peripheral Intravenous (IVs), Antiretroviral therapy(ART) sticks, managing ventilators, administering pulmonary surfactant, umbilical lines, catheters, and other sick baby-related procedures.

The successful candidate must be able to perform circumcisions and may receive training on Plastibell if needed. Credentialing timeframes include 90 days, during which the provider must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this opportunity is $144,965 - $144,797 per year, based on the location and experience requirements.
