Academic Excellence Leader

Crescent City Schools is seeking a dedicated Middle School ELA Teacher to join our team. As an Academic Excellence Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students.
About the RoleAs a Middle School ELA Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering instruction in the classroom and raising student achievement. This involves long-term unit planning, daily lesson planning, communicating with parents/guardians about student progress, and implementing feedback and goal-setting into lesson delivery.
You will also collaborate with teammates in grade-level and subject-level teams, participate in the life of the school, including student activities and events, and maintain a classroom culture conducive to student achievement.

- A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Louisiana Teacher Certification (or equivalent certification in another state)
- A proven track record of leading academic achievement
- The ability to inspire your students and colleagues
This is an in-person role that requires regular sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, operating a computer, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds may be required.
