Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Self Storage Operations Director to lead the daily operations of our self-storage facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales and occupancy growth, and ensuring seamless facility management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer interactions through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Drive sales growth by generating creative solutions and promotions to attract new customers.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including collections, deposits, and customer communications.
  • Show and rent units by understanding tenant needs and offering tailored storage solutions.
  • Sell merchandise and upsell insurance products to increase revenue streams.
  • Assist with auction preparations and handle tenant communications with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain facility appearance and safety standards through regular inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment with direct involvement in profit-and-loss management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to perform light maintenance tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and travel to different locations.
