Job Summary:
Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join their team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling company fleet diesel equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on position that involves performing preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will also diagnose and fix issues related to equipment operation, ensuring safe and efficient performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and overhaul company fleet diesel equipment to meet safety standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
  • Diagnose and fix issues related to equipment operation.
  • Train/provide guidance to other Mechanics.
  • Document repairs and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
3 - 5 Years
3 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair and experience in refrigeration
