Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Patient Contact Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include processing patient appointment requests, verifying patient information, and obtaining necessary pre-authorizations for treatment and reimbursement. You will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and accurate communication, adhering to state and federal reimbursement and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process patient appointment requests and route them to the appropriate departments.
  2. Initiate the verification process and obtain pre-authorizations for treatment and reimbursement.
  3. Ensure adherence to state and federal reimbursement and regulatory requirements.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate communication.
Requirements
  • Vocational/Technical Degree in Practical Nursing (Required)
  • 2-3 years of progressive clinical experience (Required)
  • 2-3 years of medical insurance or financial counseling, data entry, and customer service in a health-related environment (Preferred)
Certifications and Licenses

Required Certifications/Licensures: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current Georgia license

  • Good - manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination
  • Ability to perform - repetitive tasks/motion
