Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position supporting the clinic near Seaworld Park in Orlando, FL. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care to patients, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida. You should also have at least one year of experience as a licensed provider, although prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred but not required.
You should be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, including Spanish, depending on the market. You should also be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
