Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Boone NC. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check guests into and out of the hotel in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle all payments and transactions efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all hotel keys are distributed and guest privacy is maintained.
  • Responsible for maintaining all documentation regarding room registration, changes, charges, and customer service issues.
  • Facilitate the washing, drying, and folding of house laundry as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Previous front desk experience (highly preferred).
  • Experience using Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (highly preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with others.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-Time Agent (5 Days) with no limitations or shift preferences = $13.00-14.00/hr.
  • Part-Time Agent (4 days) with limitations or shift preferences = $11.50-12.50/hr.
  • Part-Time Agent (3 or fewer days) with limitations or shift preferences = $11.00-12.00/hr.

Work Environment and Scheduling

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
  • May be required to stand for an extended period of time.
