We are seeking a highly skilled Dock Security Associate to join our growing Loss Prevention team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will utilize your experience in loss prevention to reduce profitability losses due to theft or incorrect business procedures in a dynamic retail environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a Dock Security Associate, you will perform loss prevention duties as part of the retail operations team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Guarding, patrolling, and monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
  • Providing support for customer service and customer pick-up procedures.
  • Controlling losses and reducing shrinkage through policy enforcement.
  • Enforcing customer pick-up procedures.
  • Conducting store opening and closing procedures.
  • Performing coworker and safety audits.
  • Checking merchandise transfers.
  • Performing store perimeter checks.
  • Conducting trailer checks.
  • Monitoring alarms.
  • Controlling security-sensitive items.

Requirements

Successful candidates for the Dock Security Associate role should possess effective communication skills and the interpersonal skills required to work with customers, management, and coworkers. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who is looking for a challenging opportunity working in a dynamic retail environment.
