About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Midwife to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide safe and personalized care to patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and routine GYN setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing midwifery care to patients from adolescence to senior adult
  • Collaborating with nurses, nurse-midwives, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assess and meet the healthcare needs of patients
  • Participating in the development of guidelines for the midwifery service
  • Implementing policies and procedures regarding the delivery of patient care
  • Providing care and management of normal labor patients, including delivery
  • Consulting with physicians as needed and co-managing certain patients
  • Providing telephone triage services to patients during non-office hours
  • Engaging in patient education at every visit
  • Providing routine GYN care to patients

Requirements include:

  • Valid Massachusetts RN licensure in good standing
  • Master's Degree required
  • Graduation from an educational program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery and Education (ACME)
  • Successful completion of the certifying examination given by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
  • Enrollment in the Certification Maintenance Program by the AMCB
  • Three years experience as a Nurse Midwife preferred
