Estimated Salary: $23.50/hour (base) + quarterly bonuses and up to $5,250/year in tuition reimbursement.

About the Role
As a Package Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely operate a delivery vehicle, comply with Department of Transportation regulations, and deliver packages to customers in a timely manner. You will work independently, maintaining high levels of safety at the terminal, on the road, and at every delivery stop. Your schedule may include weekend shifts, and you must be available to work at least one weekend day as part of your rotation. We have immediate openings on Thursday-Sunday, Friday-Monday, and Saturday-Tuesday shifts.

A Typical Day
Your day will begin with a pre-trip safety inspection to identify any vehicular defects. You will then load packages into the delivery van, which requires hand lifting, pushing, pulling, and organizing up to 400 packages daily weighing up to 70 lbs each. Box truck drivers based in Aurora, CO must be able to maneuver packages weighing up to 300 lbs using carts/lift straps with assistance from a driver helper. Throughout the day, you will maintain organization of packages, use GPS technology to navigate routes, and strictly comply with all traffic regulations and defensive driving procedures. You will also walk 8-10 miles per day while climbing up to 40 flights of stairs when delivering packages to the front door of homes and apartments.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be 21 years of age or older at time of application, willing to complete a 5-panel pre-employment drug screen, and successfully pass all training curriculum. As a Safety-First leader, you must maintain the highest levels of safety at the terminal, on the road, and at every delivery stop. This includes complying with all Department of Transportation regulations and following traffic laws at all times.
