We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Professional Development Practitioner to join our team at Christus Health. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing educational needs of clinical and non-clinical staff, developing curricula, conducting research, delivering education to targeted groups, and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in nursing, teaching, and leadership. You must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and be a registered nurse with current licensure in New Mexico. ANCC certification in Nursing Continuing Education/Staff Development is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and BLS instructor certification is highly recommended.

You should have considerable knowledge of nursing principles and practices, as well as basic leadership abilities and effective communication skills. Your ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain confidentiality is essential. Computer, research, and data management skills are also necessary for this role.

In terms of experience, you should have at least two years of teaching experience and four years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting. A BSN can be used in lieu of experience on a year-for-year basis.
