Skyworks, an innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Embedded Systems Engineer for a 10-12 week summer internship. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of world-class mixed signal chips.

About the Role

As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for working on the current design cycle for our low power audio chip. This will involve pre- and post-silicon testing/validation, data collection and characterization of the device under different operating conditions, correlation between real silicon and the design environment, and reporting your findings. You will also develop tests, script, debug, and document your work while collaborating with other team members and reviewing your findings regularly with the group.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Hands-on measurement and data collection with common lab equipment
  • Python programming for test automation and data collection
  • Simulation-based digital circuit verification with Verilog and System Verilog
  • Programming ability in C for embedded processors
  • Self-learning, problem solving, and verbal and written communication
Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently $26.00 - $47.50 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
