Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral status.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support students' learning and behavior.
  • Provide crisis intervention support and counseling services to students and school communities as needed.
  • Work with school teams to develop and implement multi-tiered systems of support for all students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in child development, education, and psychology. You will also need to be able to work effectively with diverse groups of students, teachers, and administrators.
