Activities Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly energetic and creative leader to join our team as an Activities Director at a Long Term Care Center in the Washington, DC area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate diversified resident-centered activities
  • Involve residents in planning individualized activities programs and advocate for their needs and preferences
  • Participate in meetings, including resident council and department head meetings
  • Maintain records and reports related to activities
  • Promote positive relationships with the community through outings and activities
  • Identify and perform disciplinary action as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a long term care setting, 5-10 years preferred
  • Activities certification (CTRS) and college degree preferred
  • Prior management experience required
  • Active driver's license with a good driving record
