Bakery Cake Designer

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Cake Designer to join our team at Hy-Vee. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods that exceed customer expectations.

The successful candidate will possess excellent decorating skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer who interacts with them.

• Decorate bakery items to meet high-quality standards
• Assist customers with their bakery orders by phone and in-person
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to proper sanitation procedures
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months or less of similar or related work experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
