Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled mental health professional to provide comprehensive services to youth and their families in foster care settings. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting risk assessments, providing crisis intervention and de-escalation, and delivering wraparound services to meet the unique needs of each client.

About the Role

This regular full-time position involves working with a caseload of 10-12 intensive services clients, providing individual and family stabilization services, including crisis prevention and safety planning, parenting skills training, behavior management, and brief counseling and case management. As a member of our crisis on-call team, you will participate in a rotation schedule and respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a caseload of 10-12 intensive services clients assigned by the program.
  • Provide individual and family stabilization services, including crisis prevention and safety planning, parenting skills training, behavior management, de-escalation training, and brief counseling and case management.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop individual service plans in partnership with clients and families that are sensitive to their cultural, social, mental health, and recovery needs.
  • Routinely provide intensive client services in home, school, and community settings, with an average service provision of 2-4 hours for each client per week.
  • Participate in rotation schedule as a member of the crisis on-call team and respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications
  • Hold a minimum of a current WA State Licensed Mental Health Counselor Affiliated (LMHCA), Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTA).
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of clients and families.
  • Prior experience providing community-based mental health services to youth and families from diverse cultures and social backgrounds.
  • Experience with risk assessments, crisis intervention and de-escalation, and wraparound service delivery, parent skills training, safety planning, and case management.
