Job Overview

Earn a competitive salary of $55,000 annualized as a key member of our food manufacturing team at Essenhaus Foods, a division of the Dutchman Hospitality Group. Our team supplies Amish Egg Noodles to our seven restaurants and over 8,000 grocery stores nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Safe Quality (SQF) program to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
  2. Guide the facility through the SQF certification process and conduct food safety training for all employees.
  3. Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in food safety to implement updates as necessary.
  4. Lead the development of comprehensive food safety plans and HACCP systems.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. SQF, HACCP, PCQI, and FSMA certifications preferred.
  2. In-depth knowledge of SQF, HACCP, PCQI, FSMA, and other food safety standards.
  3. Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  5. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field, or a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in food safety and quality management.
