About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Cedarhurst Senior Living. As a valued member of our care staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. You will assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Respond to resident calls for assistance in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other care staff to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited CNA program
  • One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) preferred
  • CPR or BLS certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance coverage, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
