Bullhook Community Health Center (BCHC) is a healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care services. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to work in a dynamic pharmacy environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with prescription processing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and efficient pharmacy operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Prescription Processing: Assist pharmacists with prescription intake, data entry, and dispensing medications. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when processing prescriptions.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies. Order stock as needed to ensure availability.
- Cash Handling: Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a pharmacy technician from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
BCHC offers a competitive salary range of $34,320 - $48,932 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
