Starbucks Shift Lead

Job Summary
As a Starbucks Shift Lead at Aimbridge Hospitality, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operation of the Starbucks facilities and/or other areas of the Food and Beverage departments. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest quality of product and service standards to guarantee guest satisfaction and maximize revenues and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages and/or food to guests according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to maximize efficiency.
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform pre and post-shift side work, including stock, service station, and coffee preparation.
- Inspect the Starbucks facility daily to ensure high-quality food and food presentation, cleanliness, and side work duties are completed.
- Assist the Department Head/General Manager in training Barista personnel and scheduling associates at proper staffing levels.
- Participate in monthly inventories and initiate programs to reduce breakage and loss.
- Assist in the recruitment of staff and conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Supervisory or Management Food and Beverage position.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- A professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
