We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Renal Therapist to join our team at RSE Renal Treatment Centers - Southeast, LP. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and other renal-related conditions.
- Administer dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and other relevant data to identify potential complications and take prompt action to address them.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings preferred.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
