We are seeking a highly skilled Cytologist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that align with our mission statement and SPIRIT values.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and screening all cytologic specimens, assisting on fine needle procedures, and interpreting findings under the direction of a pathologist. This requires adherence to regulatory standards, including CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, and CLIA.

In this role, you will determine whether test results meet quality control program requirements and take necessary actions if not met. You will also maintain accurate records and documentation while utilizing critical thinking skills to resolve clinical and instrument problems.

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field. Additionally, 2-4 years of experience as a cytologist or specialist in cytology is required. A Board Registration or certification from a recognized credentialing board is also mandatory.
