Anesthesiology Specialist

The Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) seeks a skilled Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will administer anesthesia, monitor patients' vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia. Your expertise will be invaluable in assisting anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians at GBMC procedural locations.

Requirements:

• Eligible for certification under the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) after completing an accredited CRNA training program
• Enrolled in a Continued Professional Certification (CPC) Program
• 5 years' experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provides anesthesiology services within the Hospital, including pre-operative review of patients and provision of anesthetics in all procedural areas
• Selects, orders, and administers anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids or blood products
• Manages patients' airway or pulmonary status using techniques such as endotracheal intubation and extubation, mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, and respiratory therapy

Pay Range: $100 - $200
