Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Agronomy Sales Professional to join our team in Southwest Minnesota. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting and selling our range of agronomy products, providing valuable advice to customers, and building strong relationships within the farming community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the designated territory, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends to drive growth.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
  • Achieve sales targets and goals through effective sales and business development strategies, staying up-to-date on the latest agricultural trends and technologies.
  • Provide expert agronomic advice on crop management, soil health, and pest control to help customers optimize their yields, ensuring they have the best possible chance of success.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and prepare detailed sales reports for management, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep knowledge of agronomic practices, crop management, and agricultural products, with a strong understanding of the local market and customer needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, with a focus on exceptional customer service and support.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the assigned territory, with a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs.
