Job Summary

Auburn-Washburn USD 437 is seeking a highly skilled Assistive Technology Aide to support teachers in utilizing technology hardware and software effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting and training skills, with the ability to design digital approaches to curricular content using technology tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to teachers and staff in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting classroom technology.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology staff, Teaching and Learning staff, and building principals to create tools and train students to use digital tools for learning.
  • Design digital approaches to curricular content using technology tools to increase access for all learners.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $13.26.
  • 8 hours/day, 9 months/year term of employment.
  • District benefits available to employees hired to work 5.75+ hours/day, 5 days/week.
