Job Description

As a Field Service Technician with Orange EV LLC, you will be responsible for performing Field Service activities for all local Orange EV Vehicles. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and providing root cause analysis; evaluating Remote Monitoring System data to identify possible performance-related concerns as well as to study vehicle utilization; accurately recording all Service work and developing pertinent reports; collaborating with customers and third-party service providers; providing technical support for sales and marketing efforts; performing field upgrades or retrofits; facilitating tool and parts warehousing. With assistance from the Service Team, the Service Technician will plan and execute a complete Service strategy for the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair Orange EV Vehicles to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Evaluate Remote Monitoring System data to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of all Service work and activities.
  • Provide technical support for sales and marketing efforts to promote Orange EV Vehicles.
  • Perform field upgrades or retrofits to ensure vehicles are up-to-date and running efficiently.
  • Facilitate tool and parts warehousing to ensure efficient access to necessary resources.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma; related technical degree preferred.
  • 1 or more years experience in automotive or electrical industries.
  • Intermediate to Advance level experience with MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and TEAMS.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 50lbs at waist level and occasionally up to 75-100lbs.
  • Ability to squat, sit, lay under, or climb on the vehicle routinely.
  • Ability to handle many functions at one time and adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedule.
  • Ability to set and prioritize goals and achieve them per a schedule.
  • Ability to execute and follow through on instructions given by supervisor.
  • Ability to articulate clearly when writing including composition, spelling, and punctuation.
