Our organization is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Assistant Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the internal operations of our facility in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position requires a strong leader who can provide direction and supervision to staff while ensuring quality care for our residents.


Job Summary:

  • This is a full-time position requiring a Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and possess excellent communication skills.
  • You must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively and work harmoniously with residents, families, personnel, support agencies, and the public.
  • A successful candidate will have leadership abilities, patience, enthusiasm, and a cheerful disposition.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's programs and activities.
  2. Ensure that all procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
  3. Supervise employees, instruct staff, and provide in-service training to promote job knowledge.
  4. Identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes with the assistance of Alden Management Services.
  5. Assure quality care is being rendered and necessary information is provided for resident admissions.
  6. Represent the facility to clients, hospitals, and community agencies, establishing a good rapport with transferring institutions.
  7. Provide direction for the entire facility in the absence of the Administrator.
  8. Review policy and procedure manuals, job descriptions, cleaning schedules, etc., at least annually for revisions.
