Pediatrician Opportunity at Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Pediatrician to join our team at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality primary and specialty care to adolescents and young adults in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Medical and Deputy Medical Directors to ensure that primary and reproductive health care is delivered in accordance with our mission, strategic direction, and business position. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, teaching, and counseling patients as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients in our busy Adolescent Health Center, including primary and specialty adolescent and young adult health care, reproductive health services, and care for youth with HIV, eating disorders, and chronic disease.
- Teaching: Precept adolescent medicine fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students in the outpatient setting, as well as serve as an attending physician in the inpatient adolescent medicine consultation service.
- Research: Opportunities for research, including participation in an NIH-funded long-term study of HPV and quality assurance projects.
- Administrative: Opportunities for development of new programs and participation on medical school/hospital committees.
Requirements:
- MD Degree with Board Eligible/Certification in Family Medicine or Pediatrics
- Adolescent Medicine board certification or eligibility
- New York Medical License
- Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine Preferred
- Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
Compensation: Salary range from 143K to 302K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits)
