Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, planning and executing individual treatment programs, and keeping treatment skills upgraded through continuing education and evidence-based research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient condition and establish treatment goals in collaboration with patient and family as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
  • Provide patient education and training on physical therapy procedures and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in program development and research activities to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • Licensure with the State of Michigan.
  • Possesses and maintains BLS certification to meet department/program protocol.

Physical Demands:

  • The physical ability to lift, position, and transport patients.
  • The ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, grasp, reach, and occasionally climb.
