Communication Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team at PeopleShare. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in crafting and delivering compelling messages to our diverse audience.

• Develop and implement communication strategies that enhance our brand and engage our stakeholders.
• Manage and administer all social media venues, including website, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and more.
• Administer promotions and events as needed and/or appropriate.
• Issue press releases to promote a positive image of the BID.
• Actively communicate with the BID membership through various channels.
• Oversee the ongoing development and improvement of the Coliseum Central website.
• Responsible for seasonal campaigns run on billboards.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences as required.

• Associates degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of all social media used by BID to promote activities and events.
• Computer skills in MS Office, Canva, WordPress, and Zoom.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well as part of a team.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
