Job Title: VP, Creative Director

Sol de Janeiro is seeking a highly experienced and visionary VP, Creative Director to lead our global creative team and drive the development of innovative, category-defining campaigns that showcase our brand's vibrant spirit and Brazilian heritage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive creative strategies that align with our brand's strategic vision and prestige positioning.
  • Lead a team of talented creatives to produce high-impact, immersive visual content that resonates with our target audience and drives business results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of campaigns across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Mentor and inspire team members to achieve their full potential and foster a culture of innovation and creativity.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and consumer insights to inform and shape our creative direction.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in integrated, cross-channel creative leadership, with a proven track record in the beauty industry.
  • 7+ years of experience in high-visibility leadership roles, with a strong reputation for influencing and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Minimum: BA/BS degree in Art + Design, Graphic Communications, or related field.
  • Celebrated people manager, inspiring mentor, and proven team builder.
  • Body of work demonstrating expertise in creating ground-up 360 Omni-channel campaign concepts.
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, and listening skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Experience leading external agencies toward creative output that complies with global brand guidelines.
