Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Earthwork Estimator to join our team at Brightline Construction. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects by accurately estimating costs and developing comprehensive bid packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bid Preparation: Perform detailed takeoffs and estimates for earthwork, grading, paving, utilities, and site concrete on public sector projects.
  • Estimating: Develop accurate and competitive estimates based on project plans, specifications, and market conditions.
  • Proposal Development: Create high-quality proposals that showcase our company's expertise and value proposition.
  • Bid Review: Conduct thorough reviews of bids to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience: In construction estimating, preferably in the earthwork and grading sector.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in software such as Agtek, Bid2Win, Filed Ease, Foundation, Sheeting, Shoring, Backfill, Dirt, Asphalt, Concrete, DOT, and Excavation.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation, and holiday time off.
