Job Title: Kids Club Associate

Job Summary:

The Kids Club Associate is a vital member of our team at World Gym, responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to children while their parents or guardians work out or engage in other activities on site. This role requires a unique blend of customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet children and their parents or guardians with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Provide a safe and engaging environment for children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure accurate and timely check-in and check-out procedures, adhering to World Gym's strict guidelines and protocols.
  • Monitor and supervise children at all times, intervening when necessary to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Kids Club area, adhering to World Gym's high standards for cleanliness and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child's activities and any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children in a formal capacity, preferably in a fitness or recreational setting.
  • Current CPR, Infant CPR, and AED certification preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a focus on multitasking and prioritization.
  • Basic math and verbal skills, with a customer service focus.
  • Computer skills and efficient typing ability required.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Assistant Manager and secondarily to the General Manager.

Compensation and Benefits:

$12.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth within the company.
