As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in connecting White Space's tailored FF&E solutions to industry leaders, helping secure new projects and fostering strong client partnerships.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at our US headquarters in Reno, NV, focusing on strategic accounts in the Western United States. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding key relationships within the hospitality industry, driving new business opportunities, and securing FF&E projects for White Space to bid on.
As a go-getter with strong networking skills, you will leverage both your existing relationships and White Space's reputation to build a robust sales pipeline. Your success in the first 6-12 months will be measured by your ability to establish strong connections with decision-makers and secure high-value projects.
Responsibilities- Lead all sales activities within your territory, with a focus on identifying and securing FF&E project opportunities for White Space to bid on.
- Proactively build and expand a pipeline of qualified leads in the hospitality and commercial sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, designers, purchasing firms, and other key stakeholders.
- Convert leads into bids, collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Estimation Manager) to ensure successful project execution.
- Represent White Space at industry events and within online communities, positioning us as a top-tier partner in hospitality interiors.
- Regularly engage in meetings and events to showcase White Space's expertise and solidify long-term client partnerships.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Building relationships with decision-makers in the hospitality industry and securing project bidding opportunities.
- Expanding White Space's presence in competitive markets by tapping into your existing network and establishing new connections.
- Overcoming barriers to entry by demonstrating the value White Space offers in custom interiors and FF&E solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the hospitality or commercial interiors sectors.
- Proven track record of generating leads, securing high-value deals, and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong network of contacts within the hospitality industry (hotel owners, designers, purchasing agents, etc.).
- Background in project management, millwork, furniture manufacturing, or related fields.
- Familiarity with interior design, architecture, or hospitality procurement processes (FF&E/OS&E).
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles with a strategic approach to closing deals.
