Dining Services Operations Manager

Aramark is seeking a skilled Dining Services Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our food service team at Tewksbury Hospital. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our food production.
About the Job$54,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience.
Responsibilities- Maintain work schedules and prepare production packets for efficient food production.
- Direct daily activities to ensure the safety and quality of food served.
- Ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
- Maintain serving schedules and ensure food items are served according to menu specifications.
- Maintain a sanitary department and accurate inventory.
- Supervise and evaluate employees, promote employee growth, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Train/mentor other food service workers and maintain logs on equipment maintenance.
- Ensure food safety/temperature logs are completed and perform preventative maintenance.
- Recommend replacement of equipment and perform other duties as requested.
- Maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm they are prepared and delivered on time.
- Be able to work occasional night and weekend catered events and attend food service meetings.
- Maintain communication with staff and perform cashier duties as needed.
- Reading, writing, and understanding verbal instructions.
- Completing a sanitation course.
- Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
