Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and improve impact across multiple groups of cross-disciplined engineers
  • Evaluate technical challenges of partner teams and lead assembled teams to provide value-driven solutions
  • Mentor, develop, and inspire engineers, as well as learn from them
  • Work with Prod Tech leadership and the business to make our team a top-tier destination for engineers
  • Share ideas and technology with partner teams throughout Blizzard
  • Drive a blameless culture around incident management with stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience using C++
  • 2+ years of professional Linux development experience
  • Professional experience working with relational databases
  • Strong organization skills, product sense, and ability to execute at a high level
  • Maintain and build code for distributed systems
