Advanced Practice Nurse for Medical Surgical Care

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to lead our Medical Surgical team at Mass General Brigham. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your expertise and leadership skills will play a critical role in shaping our nursing practice and contributing to our mission of advancing health and well-being in our community.
About the Role- Lead and manage a team of nurses in the Medical Surgical unit
- Develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as an APRN in Massachusetts
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid time off and professional development opportunities.
