We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. This role will provide administrative support to various departments, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Coordination:
    • Develop, recommend, and implement administrative protocols for the department.
    • Anticipate, plan, and coordinate activities to effectively manage assigned responsibilities.
  • Reception, Information, and Inquiries:
    • Welcome patients, parents, internal staff, and external visitors, determining their needs and directing them accordingly.
    • Answer inquiries, provide information or resolve complex problems concerning departmental activities and operations.
  • Appointments, Meetings, and Events:
    • Coordinate appointments, interviews, meetings, or events, exercising discretion and judgment to manage complex calendars.
  • Correspondence, Reports, and Documents:
    • Create, compose, and edit technical and administrative correspondence and documentation.
  • Statistics/Record Maintenance and Reports:
    • Research information, compile statistics, gather data, prepare reports, and summaries as directed.
  • Administrative Support Activities:
    • Anticipate, plan, and coordinate activities to manage assigned administrative support responsibilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressively increasing experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system, intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic database management experience (Microsoft Access).
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
