Carpentry Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter/Installer to join our team at Hakes Sash & Door, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and installation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill out time cards and maintain a productive working relationship with Builders and Builder Supers.
• Ensure proper clean-up of job sites daily and at project completion, and proper disposal of unused material.
• Complete all jobs assigned by the company in a quality manner and according to customer specifications.

Requirements

• High School graduate and a working or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a company physical, which may include a drug test.
• Three (3) years' experience in doors and associated wood product installation or carpentry for new and remodeled homes.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and have the use of both hands and feet.
• Walking, bending, and ability to climb on and around construction structures and negotiate difficult crevices associated with construction sites.
• Basic math skills for calculations and measurements, and ability to communicate in English with employees, management, and customers.

Work Environment

The Finish Carpenter/Installer will work in a construction site environment, exposed to loud noise, dust, extreme heat, cold conditions, and moving equipment.
