About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of our community's facilities and grounds are safe, clean, and comfortable for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents by performing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Work with our team to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of our facilities.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents, family members, and team members by responding promptly to their maintenance-related needs and concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. facilities management, maintenance, or construction) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with a focus on building systems and code compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, family members, and team members.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
