Improve Patient Health and Deliver Compassionate Dialysis Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis Care Specialist to join our team at DAVITA. As a Chronic Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients suffering from chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis setting.

Your role involves building strong relationships with patients and their families while supervising patient care technicians in delivering treatments. With a focus on improving patient health and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment, you will be part of a team dedicated to quality healthcare.

About this Opportunity:

  • No prior dialysis experience is required.
  • You may receive training in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
  • You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILD meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
  • Be part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment.
  • Deliver care to patients who often deal with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans and leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
  • Work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment.

  • A competitive salary ranging from $45.00 to $63.00 per hour.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree.
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) may be beneficial but is not required.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certifications are a plus.
