Job Description: As a Custodian at Carleton College, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe work environment for the campus community. This includes performing a variety of cleaning and disinfecting tasks within your assigned buildings/areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to read, comprehend, follow, receive, and provide written instructions, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. You should also have basic knowledge of chemicals, proper labeling, and environmental health and physical concerns, as well as the ability to work with cleaning compounds/solvents.

Physical Requirements: You must pass a pre-employment physical, which includes the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, balance, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, and the ability to push/pull, lift/carry up to 55 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
