Machinist - Tool & Die Technology Specialist

Job Summary:
Solventum is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Columbia, MO. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machining lathes to produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machining lathes to produce Stethoscope chest pieces.
- Perform adjustments, tool changes, and preventive maintenance to ensure proper operation.
- Perform all required sampling, testing, and inspection to meet product requirements.
- Gather and monitor data on the process to ensure process control.
- Train and/or assist department operators with running the lathes and inspecting chest pieces.
- Ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
Requirements:
- Possess a technical degree or higher in Tool & Die Technology.
- OR Possess a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Tool & Die.
- Experience operating CNC machines.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
- Ability to work 2nd Shift (3:30pm – 11:30pm) or 3rd Shift (11:30pm – 7:30am).
Work Environment:
Onsite - 5400 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202.
Travel: No Travel.
