We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Fidelity Information Services. As a DBA, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to ensure high performance, security, and data integrity.

About the Team

This team is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. We work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements, and maintains software applications.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented.

Requirements

Over 6 years of strong Postgres, SQL, Linux, Unix, AWS, Oracle - DBA experience.
Strong experience in Postgres.
Hands-on experience in SQL & Unix.
Must understand the nuances and dynamics of banking.

Added Bonus

Knowledge of FIS' products and services.
Knowledge of financial services industry.
Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios.
