East River Family Strengthening Collaborative, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Coordinator - Parent Engagement Specialist to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide support to families in the East River community.

The successful candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of the issues facing families in low-income communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide parenting education and support to at least 50 parents
  • Conduct pre and post-tests with participants of parenting activities
  • Assist with general outreach and engagement efforts
  • Enter data into ETO or appropriate data management systems
  • Provide bi-weekly reports to the Program Director
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in a community-based human services field or similar capacity
  • Valid driver's license required
Requirements:
  • Able to create, plan, organize, and implement programs
  • Knowledge of community engagement and outreach approaches
  • Knowledge of and the ability to follow confidentiality protocols
Work Environment:

This position is based in an indoor office environment with minimal local travel required.
