Merchandising Strategist for Athletic Footwear

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandising Manager Footwear to support the successful execution of Wholesale merchandising strategies across Distribution Channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer insights and business acumen, with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Product Range Administration:
- Assist in Line Plan updates, seasonal Visual Line Plan creation, and systems maintenance for the Business Unit.
- Owning the seasonal product Ranging process.
- Responsible for sample ordering for pre-line meetings, sales meetings, and sales reps.
- Sales and Account Collaboration:
- Support the Merchandising Team in educating regional sales teams on seasonal merchandising strategies and products.
- Participate in the pre-line process to validate key concepts, ensure range coverage, and identify critical gaps.
- Assist in go-to-market activities for seasonal sell-in meetings, including product setup and presentation support.
- Build relationships with key buyers to gain account insights, identify opportunities, and gather product feedback.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to align on seasonal marketing strategies and product activations.
- Business Planning and Forecasting:
- Assist in seasonal forecast entry and administration.
- Market Analysis and Insight:
- Perform ongoing sell-through analysis for categories, channels, and key accounts to stay ahead of market needs.
- Create and maintain competitive brand matrices.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Merchandising or a similar field.
- 0-2 years' experience in merchandising, integrated retail, or product creation related roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment, project management, or matrix organization.
- Effective communication skills to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
- Detail orientation and accuracy in data inputs and document updates.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and proactively identify opportunities to support merchandising goals.
$60,000 - $80,000 per year.
