IT Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our Systems Management team and drive the college's strategic vision for systems management and research-oriented systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor team members
• Develop and implement standards, guidelines, and policies for assigned team/purview
• Optimize workflows and review processes for continuous improvement
• Facilitate and encourage collaboration and communication
• Meet with key stakeholders within Franklin OIT and Franklin College to ensure needs are being met and address concerns

Requirements:

• Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field
• Experience with multiple Operating System platforms, including RedHat/Rocky Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu Linux, and Windows Server
• Advanced experience in the relevant technical field of expertise, including active directory, group policy, desktop and server management, and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA or BS preferred
• Relevant certifications desired
• Higher education experience preferred; UGA experience desired
