Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Wellness Nurse. This role will provide direct nursing care to residents, with a focus on holistic wellness.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in long-term care, assisted living, or home health settings, and be able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the health, safety, and well-being of residents
  • Assisting in training and monitoring of medication administration
  • Supervising care staff in accordance with state regulations and community policies
  • Maintaining clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state, and local standards
  • Promoting the highest degree of service to residents while leading and demonstrating the mission of the company

Qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with current LPN license
  • At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital setting
  • Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or other related dementias
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness residents
